ABU DHABI - First Free Practice GP Abu Dhabi on Friday (11/12/2010), Sebastian Vettel managed to record the best time with a record time of 1 minute 42.760 seconds. Vettel managed to outperform the McLaren duo Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button.
Free practice I held on Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, takes place in a slightly damp track
, following the rain which flushed the track in the morning. But despite that, the track is clean and riders could spur his vehicle to maximum.
Red Bull and McLaren appear dominant, in this first free practice session. Mark Weber that appeared convincing at the start of exercise, was forced to settle in fourth position after Vettel and McLaren duo successfully shifting him.
Meanwhile, drivers who have the greatest chance to clinch the title world champion, Fernando Alonso had to settle for sixth ranked. Alonso was behind Renault driver, Robert Kubica.
Behind Alonso is Michael Shcumacher (Mercedes), Kamui Kobayashi (Sauber), Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) and Nick Heidfeld (Sauber). They complete the first list of 10 major exercises GP Abu Dhabi, which is the F1 2010 final series.
